Miracle question

Objectives: 

1. to help teachers cope with their stress
2. to assist them in prioritzing
3. to assist the teacher to define the problem themselves

Target:

Teachers, Mentors, Tutors

When:

Whenever there is a complicated problem with only complex solutions available

Methodology and timing

1. Teacher talks in detail about their problem (ap. 10’)

2. Mentor/Tutor asks another factual questions

3. Miracle question : If a miracle happened overnight and your problem was resolved, how would you have noticed?

4. Teacher responds orally or writes their answer down

Advices

1. Another coaching techniques may be of use (eg. 3 advisors technique)
2. Teacher should be in a calm and relaxed, safe mood.
