How can you facilitate an open feedback culture among your staff and at the same time create more opportunities to give and receive useful tips and support?

  • for lesson observations
  • encourage teachers in their second year to peercoach each other
  • after a beginning teacher visited the lesson of his/her peer, he/she gives feedback with the help of the tools that usually tutors/mentors use
  • the beginning teacher later has another coaching session with his/her actual tutor/mentor, during which he/she talks about the experience of being feedbacked by a peer
  • strengthes the ability of teachers to give and ask for transformative feedback
